The process walkthrough for these three pieces are up! There is quite a lot to talk about and it's always a cathartic process to share it all with you guys :)

This time I think I could have done better in selecting scenes and "actions" for the characters. After cooling off, I feel like there is a little bit too much disjoint between each frame, and that perhaps a more well thought out sequence of continuous events in a single location might be much better!

Even so, there was quite a lot learnt and practiced in this valuable experience!

Thank you so much as always for your very kind and continuous support, and I hope you see you very soon! (For round 2 of the member submissions review)

Out of interest, how long does a single illustration usually take you fom start to finish? Both in hrs and on to how many days/weeks do you split the time?

I have 2 questions, first is about your drawings overall, is there some kind of lore/story going on with your pieces ? More specifically does your characters/world have some kind of plot that you show with your work, I always loved how you make your Illustrations so belivable like I they could be some kind of shots from anime/movie, this is very a big Inspiration for me :). And another question is about a second piece, is what's exactly happening in there, why is she kneeling & how its connected to the other pieces, because im still little bit confused about it. thx for your work

Another art book! I will be first in line to get it! Thank you again for sharing your process in such detail. We get to learn something new every time and also, I hope this doesn't weird or negative because that's not my intention, but it's nice to see where you struggle. A lot of younger artist will think it comes to big artists with ease, but everyone feels a struggle when making art, and that's the most beautiful part I think, because it forces us to learn. So thank you for being so honest. :) Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to more every month!

Thank you for the question! It can take from about 15 to as much as 200 hours. It really depends on the complexity of the piece and how much trouble I run into during the process. I usually aim for about 8-10 hours these days, and I draw every day of the week!

Thank you, these are some very good questions! There definitely is lore, but in a sense that I want to you see all the pieces I have drawn and make your own connections :) This set is more of a group of cuts from an imaginary film more than anything, so it isn't tight in sequencing at all, which could explain the disjointed-ness. I definitely will keep exploring sequential scenes though !Thank you!

Thank you so kindly as always for your warm words and support! It's not strange or negative at all, I think it's great that everyone, regardless of where they are in their art journey, at any one point in time, has something immutable in common :) I will definitely keep drawing my best (and struggle too)!

Wow, 200 hours is a lot hahaha. Thank you for the answer!:) I usually try to keep mine anywhere from 10-50hrs. Maybe this is a bit of a nosy question, I just want to put my own practice into perspective; how much time do you spend on drawing ca x day? How much time remains for other things, hobbies or whatever else?
