The process steps are up for the latest set! I've been trying to get better at recording the video as soon as possible once the drawings are done, and that's the one thing that I'm pretty proud of :)

As always the focus is mostly on the big turning points in each of the processes rather than the fine details! For that please check out the full realtime painting series that we've completed earlier this year :)

In this one we also take a quick peek at some of the "bloopers", or the two pieces that failed to make the final cut. Those are always sources of frustration when you realize that they won't work out, but also a big boost in motivation to do better next time!

As always, I'd love to hear any questions you have regarding the process (or anything else really), and thank you so much for your support!Watch on Youtube

thank you guweiz! i am really curious about how you practice in a week, do you have days off too? thank you :)

the planes remain to be ur biggest enemies on these vids haha, since you’ve tried motorbike any chance we see u draw plane for the next set

Thank you again for your in depth explanations. I know nothing about bikes so honestly, it looks great to me. I do have a question: do you practice on the side (example, say, for the bike) before you apply it to an illustration or do you go straight to the illustration and figure it out then? :)

guweiz

Since I'm doing this full time, I suppose any time spent drawing is practice :) So far I don't have any full days off, but I do have a few days where I spend more time relaxing than working per week. It's by no means a model answer, and I think everyone will benefit a lot more from finding their personal pace!

I have drawn a plane exactly twice (I think!) But I'd imagine they will be very difficult!

Thank you kindly as always, you're welcome! I just jump straight in, although the method you mentioned will absolutely without a doubt be very helpful... Sometimes I just don't quite have the patience to set aside time to do extra research, even thought I should!

I wish you'd complete the dinner piece, I think its got a great foundation and potential! The girls should argue about the last fry! throw dirty looks at each other and max crushing that can of soda. the fight after the fight.. =) but the bike pieces are very cool too! I wonder why should we not blur the background everytime? Isn't this effect always benefitial when presenting a subject?

Finally got time to watch this Walkthrough, I was actually quite surprised that you had more problems with background on the second piece rather than pose I thought that would be the biggest hurdle xdd. Also just in general this series always shows me that I still got a lot to learn, considering that I didn't even think that something was wrong, until you explained why you changed something and then it "clicks". I do have a more general question about what Inspires you ? Specifically is it like recent tv shows that you watched or maybe other artists, very curios about that. Last thing about the "Blooper" piece where they were eating, what stand out for me was the fact that the table they were eating on gave me the vibe of like a fast food restraunt or something like that while (If I got everything correct) they were in a Bike shop & because of that it felt a little bit odd & not fitting (?), sorry can't really come up with the better word that describes that ;-; . But overall I like the piece & the I agree with Eddy (EW) that it has a lot of potential. Thank you for your Work!

Thank you! I think it's a solid presentation, but I can't quite place just where I need to make the final push if that make sense! Maybe I'll continue it if I can just find that missing X factor :) Sometimes it's not too useful to use a depth of field effect, especially when it's not a particularly up-close shot!
