It's a shame that the smiths are so so good because morrisey is such a prick and it's painful having to give him credit. Johnny Marr is a great guitarist as well and a much much much better person. The song you'll have heard before will definitely be 'there is a light that never goes out'

Dont worry dude theres less falsetto and over-singing (slightly) from Morrissey on their next albums, this to me starts and ends well but the rest of their stuff is solid throughout

Beyond just generally being a pretentious prick who thinks he's above everyone (seriously, watch an interview, he's insufferable lol), he's just crazy racist, that's the biggest thing. He's supported Tommy Robinson, a notorious English fascist, and For Britain, a far-right anti-Muslim party. He makes a lotta comments about immigration ruining "British identity" and he called Chinese people a "subspecies". And so on... Johnny Marr on the other hand is a lovely guy though yeah. Morrissey tried to sell all the rights to The Smiths recently lol. He's really bitter that Johnny doesn't associate with him anymore, he was in love with him back in the day but it was unrequited.

Probably my favourite reaction to the smiths I've ever seen, had me in stitches at the beginning. And you were supposed to find it funny and bemusing, Morrissey was keen use humour in his writing. Really hope you do more smiths and there's plenty of Morissey solo music that's as good if not better (eg Your Arsenal and You Are The Quarry)

the guitarist of the smiths johnny marr does the solo for probably all in the mind off oasis' heathen chemistry, definitely one of the most underrated guitarists of all time

Worst but funniest falsetto ever. I recorded that hilarious falsetto on my fone and rang my mate and just hit play "I need advice.....I need advice oh a oh ho ho ho oh oi need advoice i need...." He sounds mentally ill. When he kicks in with OHII Oi NEED AD.... VoICE ". He needs sectioned. Awful song. awful band apart from the obvious super singles.

If his "oi need advoice" falsetto was a joke then fair enough. To me it just sounds like a vulnerable guy at a bus stop whose escaped from a mental institute with a box of pokemon cards and a fake bus ticket.
