This is the episode where HIMYM finally dies for me. That whole Marshall and his inner goddess thing is so weird, horribly acted and the writing is even worse. Every interaction from every character in this episode is SO forced. I think I laughed a good bit the first time I watched it but man, I literally skip Season 7 and 8 when I re-watch this show.

The force feeding of Ted and Robin drama a whole 5 years after they broke up definitely killed the show and it begins around here. It has been established the moment they started dating, meeting Ted’s parents, that they are a terrible couple. I hate it so much and it honestly fucks up the entire show. The rewatchability of it is compromised, I always skip their lovey scenes in s2 despite it being a great season and all their focused episodes. s8 is so annoying with it. Ted is the worst and just keeps getting worse, and we know everything is skewed bc he is an unreliable narrator with intent. Just gross. They should have cancelled the show during s7.

Robin being nurturing with Barney, the whole dog thing, Ted fucking over Victoria again and she just fluffing him and Robin, the worst couple in sitcom history.
