I love the way the last page is drawn with a closeup of the “I’ve said what I wanted to say and that’s all I can do” view of Charlie, looking down as he leaves the podium, but, then, we see his eyes reflecting surprise and brightness as he slowly absorbs that the cheers are all for HIM❤️‍🩹 Something about it also makes me see young Charlie in that last panel too…like… you can see it in the rounder shape his eyes, the innocent way his eyebrows are raised, and ofc, in his sweet little blush, as well as the subtle softness of his chin. Current Charlie is getting all of the cheers and support (and yes, we do want this too, Charlie!), but I love that younger Charlie is feeling all the accolades too🥹He’s come full circle, and is taking measures to make sure no one else goes through what he did. Beautifully done🫶
