From the crowd's cheers on the last page to here, seeing Tao's usually critical self gleefully saying, "He nailed it!," to Aled's on theme demure and knowing clap, to Tori, OMG, Tori Spring smiling so proudly (I'm here for every second of that!!!), to the loud whoops of support from Sai, Christian, Otis, and Sahar...Charlie has so much support and outpouring of love happening all at once. I love the way every one of those expressions are captured (it made me tear up seeing each of them responding🥹) and THEN, we get down to what really matters to Charlie...what did Nick think. You can literally feel the nervous yet so excited anticipation on Charlie by the way he clasps his hands as he faces Nick backstage, not caring about what the Head Teacher is saying...he now only needs to hear what Nick, the person that matters most, has to say (and damn do those heart eyes say it all!). This is a beautiful example of growing as an individual while also being supported and growing as a couple. It's like Charlie is learning to fly but also being grounded in a safe home base with Nick...( and I suspect the balance will tip the other way at some point but for now...❤️‍🩹)
