How blind do you have to be to not get affected by the monsters? Being blind isn’t some binary of seeing or not. Most blind people are legally blind but can see somewhat. Some people see vague shapes. Some can read large print books

I can make this concept scary by just adding five words to the pitch : and you can't stop yourself. If people were screaming for someone to help them as their bodies are continuously putting them in danger, jerking around as they struggle for control, it becomes terrifying.
