Thank you for pointing out that the boy is respecting the girl LESS when he dismisses the consent that she gave for the sex that they had. This movie is designed to make christian boys respect women LESS while making them THINK they’re respecting MORE. The effect of that on christian culture is to take the concept of consent away from individuals and subject it to the opinions of community leaders, which increases the latitude for misconduct within organizations.

When I'm high, I believe that I can ascertain the motivations of actors/podcasters that I listen to. I'm sure I'm totally average at this, but I believe I can tell. Listening to this while high, AG sounded a little hesitant in the first 10-20 minutes, not sure if her jokes were going to land, or how well her sense of humor was fitting in. After Noah praised her for the 80's movie references, and riffing with them a couple times? Yes. The Beans fits in well with confidence.

I haven't finished the episode yet and also will never watch this film but does anyone bring up the fact that condoms exist? Like, ok, daughter doesn't want an IUD but there is an alternative to that for the other person, short of a vasectomy. Wrap it up! Most people dont think sperm count as people... Yet.

AG was a great guest. Also what would happen if Mary had aborted Jesus? Well assuming the religion wouldn't exist I imagine a huge leap forward in scientific progress and quicker strides towards equality.
