I'm finally feeling a lot better now and i promise next week's ep won't be as delayed anymore, my shoulder is still doing awful but i've just been powering through it lately.. i dont even have time to paint normal stuff outside of the webtoon anymore 😭😭 i feel like im letting everyone down bc my productivity has been so bad but you guys are still being rly kind to me so i just feel so grateful.. and really guilty </3

I think most ppl thought that after they started cuddling everythings fixed but like not really..? theyre still super awkward with each other despite and the atmosphere between them aren't as cute and flowery anymore since this huge secret is out, they have an objective now, and obviouslyyyy the pawnshop subplot was just a device to get to Colie, i think when they put their heads together Cherie and Crush and do anything.. it just so happens that theyre rarely ever in the same space bc of all the secrets between them, this is the first time in the entire series where there's no more walls yet they still have a lot to overcome, Crush especially, cause Cherie's secret actually has a timer on it and they both know Colie's running out of time, so things have to pick up pretty soon, especially when Chohan's getting involved again..

Ppl thought that me revealing Chohan's backstory was to make people like him LIKE ADKJSFNADKJNSA I DONT EXPECT ANYONE TO LIKE CHOHAN AT ALL.. if anything his backstory will make u hate him a lot more, but that'll just be another lore dump for another episode just bc of how insane his character journey is.. When I wrote the pawnshop episode I knew it had to Cherie that has to talk to this sleazy guy bc Cherie has more clues about Colie than Crush does, and Cherie doesn't get intimidated easily like Crush, the camera trick is what Cherie used in the beginning of season 2 when he was working at a restaurant and I wanted to make a callback to that.. even though im sure most ppl have forgotten already, i still wanted to showcase Cherie's strength mentally bc his constitution is strong, he knows people and he knows how to read people well, that's how he got Tez to notice him, and how he did so well in the Syndicate.. Like in Cherie's entire life he's always had his friends to fall back on, but now he only has Crush, and that fear of losing the only safety net he has left caused him to hide the secret, whereas Crush is now more open to connections because Cherie taught him that he's still lovable if he's willing to change, and Crush saw that as long as he changed there's still better things for him out there. They both influenced each other in the opposite direction and i just lauv them sm... i know everyone's exhausted of their 10000 year long situationship but it's the situationship that makes it fun to read.. u know

Anyways.. enough yap.. I'm really grateful for your patience and thank you all for letting me flop last month, everytime the weather gets cold my joints just fuck up so bad 😭😭😭i swear it wasn't this bad last year and its probably only going to get worse so im really scared, i just hope its not so bad that i'd have to take a hiatus bc i genuinely miss drawing so much, i just miss painting and posting doodles and patreon requests but i dont even have time for that anymore, any free time i have i just wanna do the webtoon and even then I'm taking so slow..
