marmaladexx

This movie has had me in a chokehold for weeks omg

Zayne

Oh, I'm so ready for this. I was so geeked when I saw this on the poll.

Zayne

Me too. Now, I'm torturing myself again watching other people watch it.😭😔

Jennifer Z

this was a great watch with you guys!! tysm! 🫶

Robin Beatch

I cried harder this time around, knowing how it goes. One of my fav things about this film is that it was filmed chronologically!! The team was on vans and vehicles so that they were able to move along while filming/walking

marmaladexx

I am also here to support and push the Ray/Pete agenda - god bless Gavries, my beloveds.

Joshua Scott

Listening to the actors talking about how much they actually had to walk for this movie is something. Like I'd been out after mile 50. First time I watched this I held out till Olson. Then I broke down and did not stop crying because it's just gets heavier and heavier as the movie goes on. I wanted Pete and Ray to start a family together. The performances in the movie are amazing. The visuals, locations, writing, everything was powerful. But this movie is emotional torture.

Zayne

YESSSSSS, PUSH THE GAVRIES AGENDA!!!!!!!!

Angry_Pigeon

I probably watched this movie 5 times as watchalongs and I cry every time at the ending.

Chrissy

This movie is one of my favorites of the year. I cry every time I see it, cried again rewatching with you both. The on screen performance chemistry of Cooper and David is amazing, the acting of all the main boys is fantastic and the ending just wrecked me. Everyone needs a Pete McVries in their lives

Chrissy

Not sure if you know, but the guy that plays Collie plays Taniel in Welcome to Derry

Stephanie Ella

Not me watching this on my treadmill going 3 mph 🤣

Chrissy

Little fun fact, Cooper Hoffman dates Nico Parker who played Sarah, Joel’s daughter in The Last Of Us The ending of the movie is different than the book. It’s widely thought in the movie that because he shot the Major, he’s immediately killed, which I believe. All the people are gone, no fireworks and he just keeps walking, like he said to Ray “I’ve been walking my whole life”, it would probably be no different in death.

Stephanie Ella

Poor guy has diarrhea and Chey’s saying "just kill him!" OMG, I’m cackling.. 🤣

Petty Pumpkins

Yes! Once the camera was off and we were winding down we were like oh my god, he most certainly was instantly killed at the end because where did everyone go? Walking alone down an empty alley, oh he dead dead!!!!!!! So tragic, but beautifully done.

Leanna Llosa

I'll just say, Pete and Ray were more queer in the book and Stephen King wrote that novella in the 70s. I'm surprised they toned it down in the movie. For all the people who ship Gavries IMO it's canon

How do yall not sob through some of these movies you watch ?! 🤣 I’m over here about to choke on a lump in my throat trying not to bawl my eyes out when Olson died 😭😭
